I got in to work yesterday morning (Monday), and I started getting a couple of congratulatory IMs. So I pulled up my email, and there was an email about Wellness for Life from our Vice President. Here’s what it said…
“MSO Wellness 4 Life –
I would like to congratulate all of the XXXXXXXXXX associates who participated in the Wellness 4 Life program over the course of the last six months. This program was created to encourage our associates to make healthy lifestyle changes. The response demonstrated our team’s commitment to associate health and wellness. During this period we conducted over 1400 individual health assessments and lost a combined 736 pounds. In addition, in effort to sustain these gains associates participated in wellness seminars and tracked their progress with exercise and nutrition logs. This program reflects XXXXXXX’s partnership with its workforce in taking back control of our health. Lastly, I would like to thank our network of Wellness Champions who have and continue to encourage and inform their fellow associates about wellness opportunities.
While everyone who participated within the program is a winner I would like to applaud the following three associates for accumulating the 3 highest point totals;
Venkat Ramaswamy, Mary Sutton and John Foland.

So there you have it. I got some recognition from the program, even though all I wanted was to get healthier, and more fit.
