I attended a ChiRunning seminar this weekend at The Training Studio. They discussed some interesting things, but cadence was brought up towards the end. While the guy presenting showed a pocket metronome to help you keep your pace, a fellow Landsharks member talked about PodRunner.
PodRunner is a podcast that is an hour of “mixed” dance music to a specific bpm. This is the beat/cadence that you would run to, so that your cadence stays the same. I just started the subscription to this podcast, and have only previewed. As long as the music is interesting, it’s a great way to listen to music that helps your running progression.
